Delete Account & Data

This page explains how users of the Skill Tree mobile app can request deletion of their account and associated app data. Skill Tree is operated by Project Goldrush, the Service Provider named in the Privacy Policy and Terms.
How to request account deletion
- Email gregoricjosip9@gmail.com with the subject line "Skill Tree account deletion".
- Send the request from the same email address you used to sign in to Skill Tree, if possible.
- Include your Skill Tree account email and, if available, your user ID from the app's Account screen.
- State whether you want your whole account deleted or only certain data removed.
The Service Provider may ask you to confirm the request or provide information needed to verify account ownership before deleting account data.
Data deleted when your account is deleted
After a verified account deletion request, the Service Provider will delete or anonymize personal data associated with your Skill Tree account, including:
- Account identity data controlled by Skill Tree, such as account email, name, user ID, and connected sign-in provider links
- Skill Tree profile data, onboarding answers, character/profile preferences, and similar account settings
- Cloud-synced skill trees, quests, progress data, and user-generated app content linked to your account
- Server-side app usage records tied to your account, except where retention is required for security, fraud prevention, legal, tax, or billing reasons
- The association between your Skill Tree account and app subscription access where Skill Tree controls that association
Data that may be kept
Some data may be retained after account deletion when necessary, including:
- Purchase, subscription, invoice, refund, tax, and anti-fraud records maintained by Google Play, RevenueCat, or other payment providers
- Security logs, abuse-prevention records, and legal records needed to protect users, the app, or comply with applicable law
- Aggregated or anonymized analytics that no longer identify you
- Backup copies for a limited period before they are overwritten in the normal backup cycle
Verified deletion requests are normally processed within 30 days. Backup copies and security logs may remain for up to 90 days unless a longer retention period is required by law, tax, accounting, payment, dispute, fraud-prevention, or safety obligations.
Delete some data without deleting your account
You can request deletion of specific data without deleting your whole account by emailing gregoricjosip9@gmail.com with the subject line "Skill Tree data deletion" and describing the data you want removed.
You can also clear local app data stored on your device from Skill Tree by opening Settings and using Delete All Data. This clears local trees, progress, settings, and user data on that device, but it does not automatically delete server-side account records or third-party billing records.
Subscription note
Deleting your Skill Tree account does not automatically cancel an active Google Play subscription. To stop future billing, cancel the subscription through Google Play subscriptions. After cancellation, Google Play and RevenueCat may still retain purchase records as required for billing, refunds, taxes, fraud prevention, dispute handling, and legal compliance.
